Hi. I’m just a woman in her 30s trying to make sense of a body that doesn’t always follow the rules. After a car accident left me with nerve issues, chronic pain, and a stack of confusing diagnoses, I found myself thrown headfirst into a world of MRIs, PT, brain fog, and flare-ups that don’t RSVP.
At first, I kept it all in. Then I started journaling. Then drawing. Then joking. Then one day I thought, maybe someone else needs to hear this too.
So, Bad Flare Day was born — not just as an outlet, but as a soft landing spot for anyone navigating chronic conditions, misunderstood symptoms, or that never-ending “is it just me?” feeling.
I’m not here to be an expert. I’m here to be honest. To vent a little. Laugh when possible. Share what helps. And connect with others who are figuring it out day by day — flare by flare.
This space is for you, for me, and for the people who love us. Welcome to the flare fam.
